I love the way Luke writes! I’m really excited for his new book BLACKLISTED to come out! And, yes, Luke Romyn is hilarious on twitter. I love reading his tweets. Especially the ones between him and Claude Bouchard.
I’m hooked!03. Nov, 2010 at 11:17 am #
I agree with Linda K but I would BUY anything from this man. True, he is so witty and I enjoy his twittering (is that a word?) Continued success Luke and many blessing to come. Your fellow twitter-er and blogger.

What more can I say than the good words of the previous “participants”? His writing style is great, his experience is awesome (wish I had such experience, then I wouldn’t rely only on my imagination for my books…;), he and his many great jokes at facebook and twitter remind me of another great writer I adore – Terry Pratchett, his books saved my life some time ago, when everything seemed hopeless as I couldn’t find a publisher for my 1st book… Then I realized laughter is the best cure against bad, suicaidal moods, and Luke helps to realize that too! Thank you for your funny quotes, my friend! Keep them coming! Thank you for the friendship! Keep writing too, I wish you the best of luck! Your are full of imagination and wit and jokes as a deep-water fish with blood pressure (it’s from my Space Ghosts and hope it fits here too)! Let the wonderful noise of the sea always sounds in your ears! (a greeting of my water dragons’ hunters – my Tale Of The Rock Pieces).

Luke Romyn, is a writer for today. He has his own unique style which as a reader and writer I instantly gravitated towards. His charismatic personality shone through on Twitter, which made me want to know more about this writer. After reading, ‘The Dark Path’, I soon realised, Luke Romyn will, or should be, managed by a large publishing house to receive the recognition he so rightly deserves.

Luke is a very enigmatic and talented writer, and all around great guy! His work deserves high praise and recognition. Judging from his background, he has plenty of experience to draw on for his novels, which means all of his releases are well worth the wait!!!

I really enjoyed reading ‘The Dark Path’ by Luke Romyn. It was fast paced and totally gripping. I found myself totally enraptured by the underworld of the assassin and the world of hell and demons that the main character inhabited on his journey.
The characters were believable and the dialogue flowed easily and naturally, moving the plot forward and enhancing the reading experience.
I am looking forward to more from Luke and can’t wait to read another book by him.
I thoroughly recommend Luke Romyn’s books for a gripping read!03. Jan, 2011 at 10:38 pm #
Luke Romyn is a genuine original. Bucketing around the world has obviously informed his style and helped him to settle on his own approach to writing. Adventurous readers will be drawn to his natural wit and confident wordplay and they will be keen to follow him further. His fan base is sure to grow.

Following Luke on Twitter is like riding a rollercoaster. His quick wit and charm come through with each tweet… well, maybe it’s more like sarcasm than charm, but he’s sure a lot of fun. Why aren’t we all reading his books?

Congratulations on your success!

A mind blowing writer. Luke’s twitter conversations are strangely hilarious and thought provoking. The short stories on his website are spell bounding and if it weren’t for the fact I need to use my money for useless things like food and shelter, I would buy his books.

Luke Romyn is exceptionally talented! You won’t be sorry if you buy his books! I’ll definitely be buying his new novel BLACKLISTED when it hits the shelves!

Firstly, I showed your author picture to my mum…she said ‘Oh, he looks like a nice man.’ Yes, she really said that. Secondly, and more importantly, it is a pleasure to converse with you on Twitter. I think you are remarkably witty, as I have mentioned previously. I also think that you display remarkable depth and intelligence. You deserve all the success in the world and I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that there’s a movie deal or two in your future. Thank you, Luke, for your friendship and for sharing your wordsmith skills with the rest of us.

Luke Romyn’s ability to transform horror into words has an effect on the reader resulting in mental images too scary to put his book down. Equally intoxicating is his sense of humor that he shares with all on Twitter. Life is never a dull moment with Luke around. Nothing gets by this man & by following and engaging with him on Twitter is always a form of comic relief.

I have so far only read the excerpts of this man’s work and can’t wait to see The Dark Path in print. The caliber of what I’ve seen of Luke’s writing is second to none. I expect it won’t be long until Luke Romyn is a household name.

I have been holding out reading “The Dark Path” because I do enjoy having a hard copy of the book in my hands. As time goes by, I think I’m going to have to break down and just read the electronic version, as the excerpts are so tempting.
What I have read, I am extremely impressed with.
As to Luke the person, it is impossible not to be captivated by his personality and humor. People gravitate to him, he just can’t help his charming ways.

Best of luck with “Blacklisted” and all your future novels.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Luke for a year or more. I am honored and grateful for his friendship. Luke is a man of many talents and a wonderful, caring individual. He is one of a kind!
His writing is amazing in the eyes of this beholder. I had the first chapter of The Dark Path memorized before I bought the eBook. I am a fan of the bound word but could wait no longer for a printed version.
Luke is very entertaining, any who have had the Luke Romyn experience can attest to that! I am a forever fan and anxiously await his next novel, Blacklisted. And the next, and the next … you get the idea.

Luke – as I’ve said before, I couldn’t sleep for days after reading The Dark Path; tremendous ideas in it, deep questions, as well as excellent writing and layered characters. I’m dreading the next one… and can hardly wait.
